- Integrated Transformation: This mechanism allows a spacious sofa to occupy the same footprint as the bed when it is not in use. It is often utilized in the “Aladino Elektra” series, which can be automated with an infrared remote control for seamless switching between bed and sofa modes.
- Collapsible Design: The sofa frame is constructed with folding mechanisms and bayonets fixed directly to the front panel of the cabinet. As the bed is lowered, the sofa seat automatically collapses downward, typically requiring no cushions to be removed beforehand.
- Ergonomics & Comfort: When fully deployed, the mechanism supports a standard sofa seat height of approximately 46 cm. The seat itself is made of multilayer slats to ensure comfort and durability comparable to a traditional sofa.
